Max-Planck/Korea-POSTECH Center for Complex Phase Material, Pohang, Korea invites applications for postdoctoral fellow positions.

Our main interest is spectroscopic study on strongly correlated complex phase materials using x-ray/neutron facilities.

The annual salary starts from 36,000,000~44,000,000 Korean Won (approx. US$ 31,000~37,000 at the current exchange rate), and will be commensurate with experiences.

The initial appointment for the position is for one year and can be extended depending on qualification of candidate. 

The applicant should have, or should soon be attaining, a Ph.D. in experimental solid state physics.

Candidates have interest in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply.

● Soft x-ray spectroscopy / design and maintenance of UHV devices. 

● Neutron / Hard x-ray scattering. 

● Physical property measurement (PPMS / MPMS) 

● Pulsed laser deposition of correlated oxide material
